About CCI

Who We Are

The Congolese Community in Ireland (CCI) is the official representative platform for citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo and friends of the DRC living across the 26 counties of Ireland.

A diplomatic-grade institution

Founded by community elders, professionals and youth leaders, CCI operates as a non-partisan civic institution. We work alongside Irish authorities, the DRC diplomatic network in Europe, and international partners to defend the interests, dignity and aspirations of the Congolese diaspora in Ireland.

Who we serve

Every Congolese person in Ireland — students, asylum seekers, established families, naturalised citizens, entrepreneurs, researchers and second-generation Irish-Congolese — together with Irish institutions, employers and partners working with the DRC.

A national footprint

Our network operates across the 26 counties through local representatives, county-level WhatsApp circles and quarterly assemblies. No member of the community should be more than one phone call away from CCI support.

Take the next step

CCI is here to support every member of the community. Reach out when you're ready.
